The Akihabara Electric Town Festival has become an annual event in Akihabara, and this year it will be held again as the 2015 SUMMER Akihabara Electric Town Festival, starting June 26. The festival will last approximately one month, from June 26, 2015 (Friday) to July 26, 2015 (Sunday).

The "2015 SUMMER Akihabara Electric Town Festival" will be a complete collaboration with the idol group "Denpa-gumi.inc," which has spread its wings from Akihabara to the world, in a tie-up with their new single "Otsukare Summer! The members of the group, dressed in summery yukata (summer kimonos) as seen in the promotional video, will appear at stores in the Akihabara Electric Town Promotion Association, on flags along Akihabara Chuo-dori Avenue, and in JR trains passing through Akihabara, to liven up their home ground of Akihabara.

In addition, there will be the customary shopping coupon giveaway. During the campaign period, those who make a purchase of 5,000 yen or more at participating stores in "A-mark's Electric Town Festival" will receive an application postcard, and if they apply, 100 people will be selected by drawing to win a 10,000 yen shopping coupon that can be used at any participating store. In addition, those who purchase 5,000 yen or more on a first-come, first-served basis will receive an "original clear file" of the "Akihabara Electric Town Festival x Denpa-gumi.inc" as a present.
