TV anime "35th Test Platoon of the Anti-Magic Academy" to start in October!　Featuring Yoshimasa Hosoya, Rena Ueda, Rumi Okubo, Ryoko Shiraishi

Broadcasting of the TV anime "35th Test Platoon of the Magic Academy" is scheduled to begin in October. The first cast members and a teaser visual were also announced.

The anime "35 Test Platoon" is based on a light novel by Fuyuki Yanagisane, published by Fantasia Bunko. It is a battle story depicting the struggles of the "35th Test Platoon of the Magic Academy," a unit called a "small fry platoon" because they are a collection of dropouts. The series is directed by Tomoyuki Kawamura, director of the "Gods of Mischief: The Gods of Poverty! The series is composed by Tomoyuki Kawamura, director of "Gods of Mischief" and "Poor Gods of Mischief"; series composition by Kento Shimoyama, director of "Bleach" and "Servant X Service"; character design by Mayo Chiki! and "My Big Brother, But If I Only Have Love, It Doesn't Matter," and character design by Kosuke Kawamura of "Mayo Chiki! The broadcast start date has been set for October. The first cast members and a teaser visual have also been announced. Yoshimasa Hosoya plays Takeru Kusanagi, a captain whose only talent is his now outdated swordsmanship; Rena Ueda plays Sakuraka Hou, the youngest member of the Inquisition but who lost her license for violating an order; Rumi Okubo plays Usagi Saionji, a sniper with exceptional sniping skills but extreme stage fright; and Rumi Ookubo is a superhumanly smart person who is only interested in weapon development and modification. Ryoko Shiraishi will play the role of Ikaruga Suginami, a maintenance engineer with a super brain who is only interested in developing and modifying weapons.

<Story
It has been 150 years since the end of the "Witch Hunting War" between mankind and the "witches" who terrorized people with their powerful magic.
Today, young volunteers continue to train at the Academy of Inquisition, an institution that trains "Inquisitors" to deal with the remaining magical threats.
Takeru Kusanagi, whose skill with the sword is second to none, is one of the students attending the Academy.
