Summer Anime "Rampo Kitan" Long PV with Character Voices Released! Also, a synopsis of the first episode "The Human Chair Part 1

A long PV from the TV anime "Rampo Kitan Game of Laplace," which will start in July, has been released.



Rampo Kitan Game of Laplace" is an original anime work to be broadcast on Fuji Television's late-night anime slot "Noitamina". The story is set in the 50th anniversary of the death of Edogawa Rampo, a master of the Japanese mystery novel world, and is based on his various works. Directed by Seiji Kishi of "Danganronpa," series composition and script by Makoto Uezu of "Danganronpa," and produced by Larke.

A long PV has been released this time. Akechi (CV: Takahiro Sakurai), a genius high school detective who is allowed to stay away from school by the Imperial Household Agency for helping to solve unusual crime cases; Kobayashi (CV: Riyo Takahashi), who begins cooperating with Akechi in investigating cases as his assistant after meeting him; Hashiba (CV: Daiki Yamashita), a sensible man and sergeant of a conglomerate who is pushed around by the two; and Kagame (CV: Shigeru Kikuchi), a police inspector. Kagami (CV: Katsuyuki Konishi) and Nakamura (CV: Cho), a police inspector; Kurokalo (CV: Yoko Hikasa), a female bandit who is imprisoned in the "Shinjuku Prison" for special criminals but cooperates with Akechi; Kageo (CV: Takehito Koyasu), a master of disguise and a rare thief; Minami (CV: Saki Fujita), a medical examiner who nimbly explains the autopsy results of a dead body; and the corpse actor, Saki Fujita. (CV: Saki Fujita) and the corpse-playing corpse-kun (CV: Kappei Yamaguchi), and their character voices have also been unveiled for the first time.


The synopsis for the first episode, "The Human Chair Part 1," which will air on July 2, has also been released. This is the episode in which Kobayashi wakes up in front of a dead body that has been turned into an objet d'art and is suddenly arrested as a suspect.

Kobayashi has never felt the joy of life until today, when he is in the second year of junior high school. It is as good as being dead.
One day, he woke up in front of a dead body that had turned into an object. To his surprise, it was his homeroom teacher who had been murdered. Kobayashi was suspected by the police and arrested as a suspect.
After being released due to lack of evidence, Kobayashi-ko visited Detective Akechi. Although he is only 17 years old, he is a juvenile detective with a government license.
Now, the mystery of the mysterious "human chair" is about to begin.
