The opening day greetings for the anime film "The Movie: The Battlestar Giants Part 2 - Wings of Freedom" was held at Shinjuku Wald 9 on June 27, 2012.

Before the broadcast, many were concerned about the intense action scenes, but when they opened the door to the series, they found it to be a masterpiece that even fans of the original work were excited to see. Even now that the series has finished airing, it continues to be a topic of conversation and has become as popular as the original manga, which has sold a total of more than 40 million copies. The long-awaited "movie version," a live-action movie and an anime movie, are currently being made simultaneously, and the second TV anime season will start within 2016.

The film is a 5.1ch remastered compilation of episodes 14 to 25 of the TV series with new dubbing. More than 40,000 people from all over Japan applied for the first day's stage greeting, and the 420 people who were successfully selected from among them filled the first venue. The audience was heated up early on when Hiroki Kaji, who plays Eren Jaeger, appeared from the audience seats and threw his cape into the air. Three years have passed since the TV broadcast began, and I can finally look at the work objectively.
