[Even Dogs Hit Anime When They Walk. Part 7] One Simple Reason Why You Should Still Watch "JoJo`s Bizarre Adventure Stardust Crusaders".
We want to meet more and more anime that excite our hearts, anime that will cheer us up tomorrow, and anime that we will always love! We will introduce you to anime that are hot at the moment, regardless of whether they are new releases or long-term favorites.
A fierce battle that shakes your heart! And a climax that leaves a deep aftertaste!
The second part of " JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders ", " Egypt Arc ", has ended. Together with "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Stardust Crusaders," the first half of Part 3, there were 48 episodes in total. The entire 17 volumes of the original comic (10 volumes in the paperback edition) were animated over the course of a full year. It was a blissful time for fans.
Especially in the last stage, from episode 42 onward, when the victims of the comrades begin to appear, every week was truly a divine episode! The death struggles against DIO and his minions unfolded with emotionally rich music that accompanied the emotions of the characters.
The anime did a great job of depicting the strange and mysterious battle of supernatural powers. It is actually a difficult task to make an anime "as is" with the charm of the original comic, and it is not enough just to "as is" animate the story and dialogues. It is not enough to simply "as-is" animate the story and dialogue. It is necessary to add some animation direction and then "make the impression the same" in the finished product.
In this sense, "JoJo`s Bizarre Adventure Stardust Crusaders" has managed to depict the charm of the original work in anime with a high level of skill that makes it seem as if it were ...... exactly as it is. The animation is a masterpiece of technique, with a lot of wackiness, a few inconsistencies, and even some hilarious quirks in the dialogue and development.
In particular, the death scenes of the main characters, which were depicted with the utmost skill of direction, combined with the wonderful music, were very poignant and moving.
Once again, "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure" (hereafter referred to as "JoJo") is full of excellent episodes of characters' final episodes.
No matter which part of the series, no matter which enemy they are facing, they all end up fighting to the death in the end. As a result, there will be casualties among the friends. Sometimes the death is quick, sometimes it is lonely. Sometimes the fatal wound is inflicted in an instant, and not even the last word can be left behind. It is very close to real death.
But for some reason, there is something exhilarating and penetrating about that death.
This is probably because all of the characters are convinced of their own way of life, have chosen their destiny, and live each moment to the fullest. The farewells are sad, but they leave no hard feelings or regrets; they finish their roles, leave the rest to their friends, and disappear with satisfaction.
The sadness of the viewer's heart can be overlaid on those who are left behind. The theme of "feelings passed on even after death" is a theme shared by the current Weekly Shonen Jump flagship works "ONE PIECE" and "NARUTO.
When all is said and done, what remains in the hearts of the viewers is Joseph's line, "It was a very enjoyable journey. ......! The aftertaste is refreshing. The aftertaste is refreshing.
I'm glad I got to see it in anime! There are a lot of fun things that only the anime can offer you!
I was a real-time reader of Weekly Shonen Jump when the third part was serialized. The weekly broadcast of the TV anime made me nostalgic for something similar to the feeling I had back then.
Each episode featured a bizarre and mysterious enemy, kept me on the edge of my seat, and at the end there was always a pull to the next episode. I simply enjoyed each week's story in the anime as I enjoyed the serialized comics.
As this rhythm repeated itself, I became attached to both the characters and the story. The year that the anime was broadcast was a year of travel for those of us who watched it along with the characters. It is very significant that we have spent so much time together with the works.
I would also like to applaud the cast for their enthusiastic performance of "Jojo's" unique dialogue with plenty of manga-like deformation. The popular voice actors of the series were replaced by a succession of actors who gave enthusiastic and dubious performances. I laughed at times, and was sometimes amused.
If I had to choose one of them, I would like to give the award for Best Supporting Actress to Reiko Suzuki, who played the role of Old Enya. She is creepy, yet has an indescribable charm, and her comic-like battle with Polnareff was a lot of fun!
I was also fascinated by the opening trick. The three male artists who sang the openings of Part 1, Part 2, and the first half of Part 3 came together for the opening of the final "Egypt Arc," and enlivened the battle with DIO, which brought all the ties to the story to a close.
In particular, it was very cool that the time stopped at the end when DIO's stand's ability to "stop time" was revealed and when he confronted DIO in the opening scene.
Incidentally, DIO also appeared on the official website at this time, and when you tried to browse the site, you were repeatedly stopped in time. It was very irritating, and it stirred up a feeling of hatred in me, and I felt "...... is good! I felt " is good!
The overwhelming and universal "fun" of this work is further conveyed in the anime!
It is difficult to briefly describe the appeal of "JoJo" to those who do not know it. Until now, only the catchy parts, such as "Jojo standing" and playing with lines on the Internet, have often been treated as material.
But as a result of the broadcast of parts 1 through 3 in the anime, and the opportunity for people unfamiliar with the work to see it, the number of people who were able to experience the appeal of the story and characters would have increased dramatically.
Yes, "Jojo" is "interesting. Jojo" is "interesting.
Both the story and the characters have an overwhelming and universal appeal.
This is the "one simple reason" why you should still watch it. Part 3, in particular, is a royal battle story and an exotic road movie depicting a 50-day journey and battle. It is easy to understand and enjoyable, and I would recommend it to anyone.
In the golden age of Weekly Shonen Jump, which serialized "Saint Seiya," "Dragon Ball," and "Slum Dunk," "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure" was a unique work with peculiar pictures and stories.
However, looking at it again now, it is clear that it has become a truly royal and sturdy work, with the elements of effort ("courage" is appropriate in the case of "Jojo"), friendship, and triumph all in one.
Compared to the horror and occult elements of Parts 1 and 2, Part 3 is a road movie with team battles, which is easy to understand and enjoyable. In addition to the five unique and strong men, including the aged Joseph, Iggy the dog joins the team in the latter half of the film, and in the end, everyone's thoughts are united. It is exhilarating!
The main character, Sorajo Jotaro, is a quiet, martial high school student with a passionate heart. With a calm and collected demeanor that does not match his age, he surpasses the heroes Jonathan and Joseph in terms of his heroic bearing. To be honest, he is my favorite hero in "Jojo" (though I like them all).
Also, Joseph, the protagonist of Part 2, appears as a mischievous and dashing old man. He and his grandson Jotaro make a breathtaking pair. The old man is cool, old man.
Part 3 is full of easy-to-understand fun.
Stand," the embodiment of mental energy, continues to appear in later parts of "JoJo.
Part III, in which the concept of the Stand makes its first appearance, is both the culmination of Parts I and II and the beginning of Part IV and beyond. In this sense, it is no exaggeration to say that Part 3 gives us a rough understanding of "Jojo" as a work.
After watching it all the way through, you will want to watch it again from the beginning. As a popular work, some stations will probably rerun it. And with the climax of the third part so exciting, one cannot help but have high expectations for the animated version of the fourth part and beyond.
It may seem like a long time to start watching an anime, but if you haven't seen it yet, I strongly recommend you to watch it as you will never regret watching it until the last episode.
If you haven't seen it yet, I strongly recommend you to watch it. And I hope that you will join me in waiting for the anime adaptation of the fourth part.
