The 2015 "UDX Summer Festival" starts July 30!  Kannazuki, Tatsuo Kamon, Miracle Hikaru, Heisei Nobushi Kobushi, Shooting Stars and more to appear at Akihabara UDX

Akihabara UDX's "UDX Summer Festival" has become an established summer tradition in Akihabara, and will be held from July 30 to August 2, 2015. Hours are from 11:00 to 21:00 (17:00 to 22:00 on July 30 and 31).




The "UDX Summer Festival" attracts about 50,000 visitors (last year's total), and this year's festival, the 10th of its kind, will feature a total of 28 free stage events. Popular comedians such as Kannazuki, Tatsuo Kamon, Miracle Hikaru, Heisei Nobushi Kobushi, and shooting stars will appear. In addition, there will be bands, idols, and familiar shows such as Samba, Yokai Watch, and Masked Rider.


There will also be special tickets (1,000 yen for 1,200 yen per set) that can be used in the restaurant area, a raffle with great prizes, a fair, food stalls, a kids' park, a toy park, and handcraft workshops. In addition, "Cucumber Biz," a summer menu fair featuring cucumbers or zucchini, will be held in the restaurant area. One percent of sales from this fair will be donated to the Great East Japan Earthquake Relief Fund. Similarly, a portion of the proceeds from the fair and 1% of the proceeds from the toy park will also be donated.
