Aoi Eir's tour final! 23 gems of songs performed amidst countless shining blue lights!
On Saturday, June 27, 2015, Eir Aoi performed at Toyosu Pit in Tokyo.
The tour, titled "Eir Aoi LIVE TOUR 2015 'BEYOND THE LAPIS'," began in Sendai and ended in Sapporo, her hometown. The live started with "Lament" as the audience filled the standing-room-only venue waved blue cyalume lights. The audience cheered loudly as Eir's beautiful voice echoed through the air.
The next song was "Tsunagaru Omoi," a song that connects heart to heart. The audience responded to Eir's feelings with handclaps and choruses, bringing the audience together. The following song, "Satellite," had everyone waving their hands left and right in time to the music.
In the first half of the live, except for the fourth song "Tsunagaru Omoi" and the eleventh song "Genesis," the introduction of which drew cheers from the audience, they performed mainly coupling songs from their previous albums and singles. After singing the slow "Gentian Flowers" wistfully, the MC finally turned the topic to the new album "D'AZUR," which was just released on June 24.
D'AZUR" means "blue circle" in French, and I created this album with the image of a blue world created by you and me.
I believe that the new songs on "D'AZUR" will be perfected through repeated live performances, so let's all grow together!
As the anticipation for the full-fledged performance of "D'AZUR" songs rose in the audience, the band announced, "Today, we are going to invite a special guest to the show,
We have a special guest for you today! Then, "We have a special guest for you today!
Nanase Aikawa, a senior female rock singer who participated in Eir Aoi's tribute album, appeared on stage.
Thank you very much for letting me participate in your tribute album," Eir said, expressing her gratitude,
Nanase Aikawa responded, "I wanted to have a younger generation singer cover the song, but I didn't expect you to include it in your own album.
The two then sang together Nanase Aikawa's "BREAK OUT!", which is also included on "D'AZUR". A dream come true for the talented female artists.
The highlight of the live was a four-song set of songs from "D'AZUR," starting with the album's lead song "Britht Future. During "IGNITE," a percentage of the blue si rhymes turned red. It was a decision made by the fans that was unique to this song.
The audience was so excited, and Eir smiled, "I'm so happy to have another precious memory in Tokyo! Eir smiles. She sang her debut song "MEMORIA," a song with both strength and sadness, before leaving the stage for the last time.
The audience called for an encore with shouts of "EI-EI-ru! the band members and Eir, who had changed into tour T-shirts and staff jackets, appeared on stage again to answer the audience's call for an encore.
After the band members were introduced, the first encore song was a refreshing pop number, "Cobalt Sky. It was a standard song that everyone in the venue waved their towels in the air.
The title of the tour "BEYOUND THE LAPIS" means the other side of lapis lazuli. The blue world of D'AZUR is spreading out there, and within that blue world is my big dream, a one-man live performance at the Nippon Budokan.
I am happy that everyone supports me and makes my dream come true, and that we can see the new scenery together," she said, expressing her gratitude to her fans.
The audience cheered her up with loud "Eir" calls as she held back tears.
She said, "No matter how much I say thank you, I can't say it enough, so I will continue to sing with all my heart and soul in my songs.
There were only two songs left in the live. The nostalgic mid-number "Niji no Oto" was warmly sung under the seven-colored stage lights, and the last song was the gut-punching "Sirius!
The audience waved their hands in the air and jumped to the aggressive "Kill la Kill" opening theme. The tension in the venue was unparalleled.
During the MC after "Niji no Oto (Sound of the Rainbow)," the audience was asked to join hands and create a wave with everyone in the audience. The theme of the live performance was to reduce the distance between our hearts to zero. The show ended with a big call of "Ei-Ei-Ru!" three times in a row plus one last time.
