Summer anime "GOD EATER" to have game bundled with each BD/DVD volume!　Release on October 29th in 7 volumes!

BD/DVD information was announced for the TV anime "GOD EATER," which will start in July.

GOD EATER" is an anime work based on Namco Bandai Games' monster-killing action game, which has shipped more than 3 million units in total. In the original story, the player becomes a member of "God Eater" who controls a "God Machine," a weapon that changes into three forms: a "gun form" for sniper attacks, a "melee weapon form" to inflict damage when approaching, and a "predator" form to steal enemy abilities and temporarily power up. The action game, in which players carry out numerous missions to defeat monsters called "Aragami," has also gained popularity for its dramatic story based on a profound worldview. The anime version is produced by ufotable. The director, sound director, and script are by Takayuki Hirao, who has worked on the anime part of the original game.

The anime will begin airing on July 5, and BD/DVD information has been released. 7 volumes of BD/DVD (2 episodes per volume after the first volume) will be released on October 29. In addition, since the latest game, "GOD EATER RESURRECTION" for PS4/PS Vita, will be released at the same time on October 29, a game bundle edition "Cross Play Pack & Anime" containing the anime BD and game will also be released. Volume 1 game bundle edition will include the aforementioned PS4/PS Vita "GOD EATER RESURRECTION", while volume 2 game bundle editions through volume 7 will include the PS4/PS Vita "GOD EATER OFF SHOT". However, each volume will not include the BD limited edition extras (video extras and music CD).
