This week's featured games, including "Absolute Interception Wars."

Here is a roundup of the hottest home video games released this week!

First up is the PS3/PS Vita urban defense action game "Absolute Intercept Wars".

Absolute Intercept Wars is a tower defense action game set on a future Earth that has been hit by a planet-wide disaster. The player assumes the role of the commander of the city defense force and defends the city from the oncoming enemy, the giant life form "Plotinius.

The game consists of a "development phase" in which the player builds a defense line within the city site, and an "interception phase" in which the player fights the oncoming enemy. In the development phase, players build facilities such as armament units (missiles, cannons, etc.) and defense units (walls, etc.) within the city limits. In the "Interception Phase," the player fights the approaching enemy by making full use of the units constructed in the Development Phase.

The city is composed of four rotatable circular sections called "encircling zones," which can be automatically attacked by rotating the armament units in the direction of an enemy that appears. By rotating the "ring zone" and lining up the same armament units vertically, they can be combined to create a more powerful attack.

The game also offers a variety of challenging elements, such as the ability to develop new units based on the results of battles.

The turnout was calm at the various stores in Akihabara. With the release of a number of major titles in the past week, sales were quiet at all stores.
