Kaiju Tavern Kampai! is an anime version of the Tsuburaya Productions-approved entertainment tavern "Kaiju Tavern, " which opened in Kawasaki in March 2014 with the concept of "a bar where the monsters from the Ultraman series can relieve their nightly sorrows, refresh their spirits, and play new tricks for tomorrow. Each episode is 3 minutes long, for a total of 13 episodes. Directed by Minoru Kawasaki, who has worked on live-action films such as "The Widow of Earth Defense," "Ika Wrestler," "Detective Zura," and "The Sinking of Everything but Japan. The broadcast will begin on July 7, and the cast has been unveiled. Manager Bartan, the manager of the monster bar, will be played by director IKKAN, store employee Kanegon by Shigeki Kaneko (student council president Kaneko), regular customer Eleking by Kazuya Takayama (formerly of Choshinjuku), and the evil alien Zarabu Seijin by Toradan Nanbu (Dengeki Network). In addition, FROGMAN of "Secret Society Taka no Tsume" will play the role of the strongest monster in Ultra history, and Koji Ishizaka, who narrated the first series "Ultra Q," which began broadcasting in January 1966, will narrate.
