Progressive science fiction comic "Dimension W" to be adapted into a TV anime!

A TV anime adaptation of the science fiction comic "Dimension W" has been announced. The start date is undecided.

Dimension W" is a popular SF comic serialized in "Young Gangan" (Square Enix). The author is Yuji Iwahara. Currently, volumes 1 through 7 have been published.

The story takes place in the near future in 2072. Humanity is at the height of prosperity thanks to the "coil," which can extract unlimited energy from the fourth dimension, "W." However, behind the scenes, there is a situation in which people are using unregulated routes. However, behind the scenes, crimes using "illegal coils" obtained through unauthorized channels have become rampant, and a bounty is placed on their recovery. The skilled "collector" Mabuchi Kyoma meets a mysterious girl, Mira, in the course of one of his requests. Kyoma, who once lost everything in a coil accident, and Mira, who is searching for the secret of her own birth, both pursue the truth of the "coil.

Some of the staff members for the anime adaptation have also been announced. The director is Kamei Kanta, who worked on "Usagi Drop" and "Saerenai Kanojo no Nuturekata. The series composition is by Kamei Kanta, who also worked on "Rinne no Lagrange" and "Sorenai Ore no Seishun Love Comedy ha Mawatte ga Mukatta. The series is composed of "Rinne no Lagrange," "After all, my adolescent romantic comedy is mistaken. The character design is by Shoutarou Suga, who has worked on "Tales. Character design will be handled by Tokuyuki Matsutake, who worked on "Tales of Vesperia: The First Strike" and other works. Animation production is by Studio 3Hz×ORANGE.

This work will also participate in the 54th Japan Science Fiction Convention "Komekon".
