UtaPri's third season, BD/DVD Volume 1 simultaneously topped Oricon's overall ranking!　BD/DVD totaled approximately 50,000 copies

The BD volume 1 of the TV anime "Uta no Prince Sama! Maji LOVE Revolutions" released on July 1 was revealed to have topped the overall BD ranking in the Oricon Weekly BD Ranking dated July 13.

The first week of sales was 31,000 copies. The DVD version, released at the same time, also topped the weekly DVD ranking with 18,000 copies, making it a double victory for BD and DVD. This is the first time in three years and nine months since the first season of "Uta no Prince Sama! Maji LOVE 1000%" in October 2011 that a DVD of the series, including the previous first and second seasons, topped the DVD rankings.

It was also the highest-ever weekly sales for a BD, surpassing the 28,000 sales recorded in July 2013 for the first volume of the second season "Uta no Prince Sama! Incidentally, this is the first time in a year that an anime title has topped the BD & DVD charts at the same time, following "Mobile Suit Gundam UC" volume 7 limited first-run edition (released in June 2014). Gundam UC Volume 7 was also impressive in that it topped the charts for two consecutive weeks.
