BD-BOX of "Slayers," 5 movie versions and 2 OVAs to be released on October 30! The release was not cancelled, but delayed by 8 months
The release date of "The Movie & OVA Slayers Digitally Remastered BD-BOX" has been set for October 30, 2015.

This BD-BOX was announced in November 2014, but its release was cancelled due to various reasons, and will be released eight months later than originally scheduled on February 27, 2015.
The BD-BOX is a compilation of the film version and OVA* of the fantasy comedy series "Slayers," which sparked the light novel boom and took the 1990s by storm. It consists of five theatrical versions, which feature original stories written by the original author, Hajime Kamisaka, and two OVAs, which are masterpiece episodes from the original "Supesharu" series. All of the films have been digitally remastered from the original 35mm negative film for the first time on BD.
Special features include: a three-sided storage box with illustrations by Rui Araizumi, the illustrator in charge of the original story; a digipak with illustrations by Takahiro Yoshimatsu, the character designer for the anime version; a 68-page booklet with commentary and visuals of each work in all colors; a newly recorded audio commentary (featuring Megumi Hayashi as Rina, Megumi Hayashi as Na Na Na Megumi Hayashibara as Rina, Maria Kawamura as Naga, and Hiroshi Watanabe as director), a trailer for the theatrical version, and a release announcement commercial. Price: 38,000 yen plus tax.
