Autumn Anime "Osomatsu-san", Teaser PV and Event Information Released!　6 children cast: Sakurai / Nakamura / Kamiya / Fukuyama / Ono / Irino

A teaser PV and event information have been announced for the TV anime "Osomatsu-san," which will start in the fall.

Osomatsu-san" is an original anime work produced to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the late Fujio Akatsuka's birth. Based on Fujio Akatsuka's explosive hit gag manga "Osomatsu-kun" published in Weekly Shōnen Sunday in 1962, "Osomatsu-san" depicts a future world where the six children have grown up. This is the first new "Osomatsu-kun" in 27 years, following the first "Osomatsu-kun" (monochrome anime) broadcast in 1966 and the second in 1988. Directed by Yoichi Fujita of "Gintama" fame, character design by Naoyuki Asano, series composition by Shu Matsubara, and animation production by studio Pierrot.

The teaser PV and event information have been released. Iyami, who was also a famous character in the original "Osomatsu-kun," can also be seen in the PV. The first to appear are Osomatsu, who looks like a jailer; Karamatsu, looking cool in sunglasses; Choromatsu, looking desperate as the bathroom door opens; and Ippomatsu, who appears out of nowhere from a soba shop, starting with the eldest son, and ending with Jushimatsu and Todomatsu, who are dressed with great impact, not retaining their original forms. The relevance of these outfits to the main story is unknown.

In addition, event information and director's comments were also announced. Director Yoichi Fujita said, "My older cousin gave me all the KC (Kodansha Comics) editions of Osomatsu-kun and Tensai Bakabon when I was a child, and I read them to the point of exhaustion, so I feel it was fate that this job came to me. I will always keep in mind the respect I have for Akatsuka-sensei and devote myself to this job.
