TV anime "One-Punch Man" to begin airing in October!　Voice Actors' Comments after Drama CD Recording!

Broadcasting of the TV anime "One-Punch Man" is scheduled to begin in October. Comments from the voice actors after the recording of the drama CD have also arrived.

One Pan Man" is an anime work based on a web manga (original work: ONE, Yusuke Murata) serialized in the Young Jump magazine. It is an action-packed depiction of the daily life of a hero who has lost his passion because of his overwhelming power to defeat any strong enemy with a single punch. The staff consists of Shingo Natsume (Space Dandy) as director, Tomohiro Suzuki (TIGER & BUNNY) as series composition, and Oshi Kubota (From the New World) as character design. Animation production is by Madhouse.

The broadcast start date has been set for October. It will be broadcast on TV Tokyo and other stations. Also, comments from the voice actors after recording for the 9th volume of the original comic book, which will be released on August 4, have arrived. The drama CD seems to be a story based on Momotaro, originally conceived by the original author, ONE.

This is my first time playing the role of Tatsumaki. At first, I thought I was playing the role of a mature and strong tsundere, but I was told to play the role of a cute tsundere little girl, and I felt like, "Sorry Tatsumaki, I was so wrong..." My name is Takahiro Sakurai, and I play the role of Zombie Man. My first Zombie Man was a self-parody. What a surprise! I will be sending you that Momotaro with a One Pan Man taste. It's kind of like a ...... one-pan drama, and I had a lot of fun with it! It's hilarious and funny, so please listen to it. I am also looking forward to the anime.

I haven't participated in the recording of the full-length anime yet, but I was able to feel a little of the atmosphere at the site, which was fun. The drama CD parodies a few scenes from the original work, but with interesting arrangements. I believe that fans of the original work will enjoy this CD even more. I was a bit confused that the first voice recording as Sonic was suddenly an extra episode (laugh), but it was a very surreal story, just like One-Punch Man, and I really enjoyed it. The characters were all so unique and the tension between them was exquisite. Please enjoy the false "Momotaro".
