Tokyo International Film Festival to Feature "Mobile Suit Gundam" in 2015!　Dozens of screenings including rare short films

Tokyo International Film Festival announced that it will present a special screening of "Mobile Suit Gundam.

The 28th Tokyo International Film Festival will be held at Roppongi Hills and other locations from October 22 to 31. Last year's "The World of Hideaki Anno" drew much attention, and this year the festival will feature the masterpiece "Mobile Suit Gundam," a milestone in robot animation. This will be the first large-scale screening in the history of Gundam, and the first time for the Tokyo International Film Festival, now in its 28th year, to screen an anime work dedicated to a single series.

Dozens of films are scheduled to be screened, including the theatrical version of "Mobile Suit Gundam," TV animation films, theatrical works, and "short films that are extremely rare to be screened on the screen. Events inviting creators from the early days to the latest works are also being planned. Details will be announced at a later date.
