The ASUS STRIX-GTX980TI-DC3OC-6GD5-GAMING GeForce GTX 980 Ti video card with a quasi-fanless cooler will be available tomorrow, Saturday the 25th.




The STRIX-GTX980TI-DC3OC-6GD5-GAMING is a GeForce GTX 980 Ti video card equipped with the original "DirectCU III" quasi-fanless cooler.

The DirectCU III is composed of 5 heat pipes (2 x 10mm, 2 x 8mm, and 1 x 6mm) that are directly attached to the GPU, a "Wing Blade Zero Noise Fan" that increases air pressure by bending the tips of the fan blades, and a large fin that has 220% more surface area than the reference. The fan consists of large heat dissipating fins with 220% more surface area than the reference model. Compared to the reference model, cooling performance has been improved by 30% and quietness by 3 times.
