Uchimizu event "Uchimizu-kko daisy gathering! 2015" will be held on August 23.



2015" will be held on August 23. is a water-sprinkling event organized by NPO Ricorita. It is a project to prevent global warming, in which maids and general participants simultaneously sprinkle water on the streets of Akihabara, and has become an established summer tradition in Akiba. This year marks the 12th time the event has been held.


2015 is the "second season" of "Uchimizu-kko Daisetsugyo! and changed the title to "The Second Season" (!)! →!) and the symbolic character "2℃-chan" was renewed. The venue has also been changed from the plaza facing UDX at the Electric Town Exit of JR Akihabara Station to the event space on the 1st floor of Bellesalle Akihabara. The event will be held from around 10:45 am.


In 2014, due to police guidance, everyone was required to wear yukata (summer kimono), but this year, unique costumes such as maids and cosplayers will be allowed to participate in the water-sprinkling event. This year, however, the "simultaneous sprinkling of water" with the general public will not be held.
