Yodobashi Akiba to open a food court in early October!　Live Food Market Akihabara Yodobashi (tentative name)

Live Food Market Akihabara Yodobashi Store (tentative name) is expected to open in early October.

It will be located in the restaurant area on the 8th floor of Yodobashi Akiba.

It is a "new type of food court with six kinds of specialty restaurants" including pancakes, confectionery, pasta, and Japanese food.

It is operated by Jiro Restaurant System, the same company that operates "Napoli no Shitamachi Shokudo Akihabara Yodobashi Store" and "Kanda Grill Akihabara Yodobashi Store.

Yodobashi Akiba has already announced that "Sushi Zammai AKIBA" on the 1st floor and "Hikari Men Akihabara" and "Tsuruhashi Fugetsu Yodobashi AKIBA" on the 8th floor will close by the end of August. The tenants from when Yodobashi Akiba first opened (September 2005) will probably see their 10-year contracts expire in September 2015.
