Words Band" - a wristband-type device that can send and receive text via ultrasonic waves
Aircord, Inc. exhibited "Words Band," a wristband-type device that can send and receive text via ultrasonic waves. By sending the lyrics of a song sung by an artist at a live performance to the audience's "Words Band" in real time, it is said that it can realize a more unified performance. Incidentally, ultrasonic waves are used as the transmitting/receiving method in order to avoid radio interference.

Mr. Osamu Iwasaki, a mechanical design engineer at the company, told us , "In the future, we would like to be able to read the voices of overseas artists and display translated lyrics in real time.

The most popular attraction among children was the hands-on content by Coconoe Co! Scribble Monsters" by Coconoe Inc. This is a competitive game that consists of a large screen and a "magic book," a book-shaped device with a built-in "Intel Edison. COCORO: A heart-shaped device that allows users to enjoy conversations with lifeless objects such as stuffed animals and refrigerators.
This heart-shaped device uses an API on the Internet for AI, voice recognition, and voice synthesis for dialogue, and it is equipped with wireless LAN functionality as a standard feature. The work takes advantage of the features of Intel Edison, which comes standard with wireless LAN functionality.

Mr. Takeru Kobayashi of BIRDMAN Corporation, who was involved in the production of the device, commented, "It's like Doraemon's tools: you attach it to something nearby, and suddenly it starts talking. I would be happy if people think that even objects may have a heart.

This work, which expresses the eeriness of a "school ghost story" using "Intel Edison" technology, is a "moving painting" that uses a sensor to detect the viewer's face and adjusts its gaze.
