The Z170-A motherboard with Z170 LGA1151 support is available from ASUS!

ASUS has released the Z170-A, a motherboard with Intel's latest chipset, the Z170, which supports the LGA1151 socket.




The Z170 chipset, as mentioned above, supports the LGA1151 socket and comes standard with up to 20 lanes of PCI Express 3.0, 6 ports of SATA 6Gbps, 10 ports of USB 3.0, and 14 ports of USB 2.0. It also supports NVMe SSD RAID.

The Z170-A is a mid-range model of ASUS' Z170 motherboard.


Main specifications include two PCI Express 3.0 x16 expansion slots, one PCI Express 3.0 x16 slot (x4 operation), three PCI Express 3.0 x1 slots, and one PCI slot, and four DDR4 DIMMs of memory (up to 64GB). Monitor output ports are HDMI x 1, DisplayPort x 1, DVI-D x 1, and D-Sub x 1.Other features include SATA 6Gbps x 6, SATA Express x 1, M.2 x 1, Gigabit LAN, 8-channel sound, USB 3.1 (Type-A x 1, Type-C x 1), USB 3. 0, USB 2.0, etc.
