YAMUSUME PEDAL THE MOVIE" collaborates with JR Kyushu!　Various collaborative projects at Kumamoto and Aso stations for fans on pilgrimage to sacred places.

A collaboration project with JR Kyushu has been announced for the anime film "YAMUSUME PEDAL THE MOVIE," which will be released on August 28, 2012.

The anime "Yowamushi Pedal" is based on the manga by Wataru Watanabe, which is serialized in Weekly Shonen Champion. It is a sports story about an otaku boy who enters the world of cycling after meeting his friends and aims for the Inter-High School Championships. The total number of copies of the original comics sold exceeded 13 million, and the second TV anime season, "WIMUSHI PEDAL GRANDE ROAD," was broadcast from October to March 2015. In August 2015, the first feature film "YAMUSUME PEDAL THE MOVIE" will be released with a completely new story newly written by the original author.

This time, in honor of the fact that the movie version is set in Kumamoto Prefecture, a collaboration with JR Kyushu will be held from August 23 to November 1. Life-size panels of the characters will be installed at Kumamoto Station, Aso Station, and Sankaku Station, and wrapped trains will be in operation. In addition, a mobile stamp rally and commemorative train tickets will be sold at the three stations mentioned above. This is a collaboration project not to be missed by fans who visit Kumamoto as part of their pilgrimage to the holy land of Kumamoto. Life-size panels of the main characters "Sprinter" at Triangle Station, "All-rounder" at Kumamoto Station, and "Climber" at Aso Station will be installed.

The "Weak Mushi Pedal Wrapping Train," with fully wrapped cars, will be in operation.

Postcards will be distributed at the ticket offices at Triangle Station and Aso Station, and at the Shinkansen ticket gates at Kumamoto Station. *There is a limit to the number of postcards. The distribution will end when all the cards are gone. Winners will be announced by sending the postcards to the winners. The lottery prizes are scheduled to be shipped around the end of December.
