The TV anime "EAT-MAN" will be adapted to Blu-ray, and the BD-BOX will be released on November 6.
EAT-MAN" is an anime work based on a manga by Akihito Yoshitomi. It is a sci-fi cyberpunk action series starring Bolt Frank, a self-proclaimed "adventurer" who eats screws and pieces of metal and fights enemies by making weapons that he eats appear from his right hand. The series is directed by Koichi Mashita and animated by Studio Deen.
The BD-BOX to be released will include the first season "EAT-MAN" (12 episodes) and the second season "EAT-MAN '98" (12 episodes) in one package. It comes with a booklet containing a comic (16 pages) newly drawn by the original author, Akihito Yoshitomi, and a newly drawn inner jacket. The price is 24,800 yen plus tax.
Incidentally, the new series "EAT-MAN THE MAIN DISH," currently serialized in Monthly Shonen Sirius, has published up to the second volume of comics, and a new edition will be released in October.
