Yu-Gi-Oh! The Movie" stage event at the World Card Game Convention!　Original author Kazuki Takahashi also appeared!

An anime film "Yu-Gi-Oh! The Dark Side of Dimensions" will be released in Golden Week 2016, and a stage event featuring voice actors was held on August 16.

The "Yu-Gi-Oh! The Movie" is an animated feature film adaptation of the popular manga "Yu-Gi-Oh! This time, Kazuki Takahashi, the original author of "Yu-Gi-Oh!" is in charge of script, character design, and executive producer, and a completely new original story starring Yugi Muto (CV: Shunsuke Kazama) and Sejin Kaiba (CV: Kenjiro Tsuda) from the first film, with the after episode of the two (= the last episode of the original manga or later). The story will depict the after episodes of the two characters.

The WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP 2015, a world championship of the card game that appears in the play, will be held at the Kyoto International Conference Center on August 15-16, and the voice cast of the film will appear on the 16th. A stage event was held in front of 16 duelists who had won the 85,000 qualifying rounds from 60 countries and 6,000 fans from around the world. Shunsuke Kazama (Yugi Muto) and Kenjiro Tsuda (Seto Kaiba), who had not seen each other for 10 years, were joined on stage by Takahiko Aikawa, V Jump editor, Teruaki Sanematsu, movie producer, and Kazuki Takahashi, the original author. The talk about the latest anime, the screening of the first public video, and the "Duel Shu Mel! Project" (= a project to collect all 8,000 cards released to date) to celebrate the series' 20th anniversary. Here are some of the comments from the audience.

When I heard that the story after the legendary Duel was going to be depicted, I was extremely excited and at the same time I thought it was a great project to create another episode after the best ending. I haven't done any postrecording yet, but I can't help but look forward to it, because Yugi is getting more and more sophisticated (after watching the video)!

I'm back! When I heard about it, I thought, "For real? I was like, "Really? I was so excited that he was going to draw it! Shunsuke will be there, and the teacher will draw him... this is just... f~~~! It's not good, is it? I am so excited to be able to get together with these three people. I can't stop being excited! I don't think Kaiba will change as he is, so I want to play him as he was back then!
