Red Light Bullet Girion" unveils newly-drawn illustrations for BD-BOX!　Takayuki Goto, Hirotsugu Hamasaki, and Kazuya Kise are in charge of the illustrations.

New illustrations for the BD-BOX of the TV anime "Akai Hikaridan Girion" have been announced.

Akai Hikaridan Girion" is a masterpiece SF anime produced by Tatsunoko Productions and broadcast in 1987 on Nippon Television Network Corporation. Set on a colonized planet under attack by aliens, the story depicts three young men entrusted with the ray gun Zillion by an unknown supercivilization who become members of a special forces unit and take on difficult missions. Many of the current Production I.G mainstays, including Mitsuhisa Ishikawa and Takayuki Goto, are involved in the project, and Kyoto Animation is participating as a production partner.

A BD-BOX containing all 31 episodes of the TV series and the OVA "Akai Hikaridan Girion Utahime Yagyoku" will be released on September 25, and a newly-drawn illustration has been completed. The three-sided back box is by Takayuki Goto, and the digipak is by Hirotsugu Hamasaki and Kazuya Kise. The following episodes will be included in the audio commentary.
