Intel's new Skylake CPUs, the Core i7/i5 series with TDP 65W & 35W versions!

Intel's newSkylakeCPUCore i7/i5 series with TDP 65W/35W versions are now available.

The lineup includes four models: Core i7-6700, Core i5-6600/6500/6400 in retail package version (TDP65W) , and Core i7-6700T, Core i5-6600T/6500T/6400T in bulk version (TDP35W).

The 65W/35W TDP Core i7/i5 series are the lower-end models of the Core i7-6700K and Core i5-6600K overclocking models released in August of this year.

Although the operating clock is lower than the higher-end models, the TDP is also lower (from 91W to 65W/35W), and both the retail package and bulk versions come with a CPU cooler, making them easy to use for general home-built PC users.

The Core i7-6700 is compatible with LGA 1151 sockets, clock speed: 3.4 GHz (up to 4 GHz with Turbo), 4 cores/8 threads, cache capacity: 6MB, TDP: 65W.

The Core i5-6600 is available in LGA 1151, clocked at 3.3GHz (Turbo: up to 3.9GHz) with 4 cores/4 threads, 6MB of cache, and a TDP of 65W.

The Core i5-6500 is available in LGA 1151 socket, clocked at 3.2GHz (Turbo: up to 3.6GHz) with 4 cores/4 threads, 6MB of cache, and 65W TDP.

The Core i5-6400 is available in LGA 1151 socket, clocked at 2.7GHz (Turbo: up to 3.3GHz) with 4 cores/4 threads, 6MB of cache, and a TDP of 65W.

The Core i7-6700T is available in LGA 1151 socket, clocked at 2.8GHz (Turbo: up to 3.6GHz) with 4 cores/8 threads, 6MB cache capacity, and 65W TDP.

The Core i5-6600T is available in LGA 1151 socket, clocked at 2.7GHz (Turbo: up to 3.5GHz) with 4 cores/4 threads, 6MB cache capacity, and 65W TDP.

The Core i5-6500T is available in LGA 1151 socket, clocked at 2.5GHz (Turbo: up to 3.1GHz) with 4 cores/4 threads, 6MB of cache, and a TDP of 65W.

The Core i5-6400T is available in LGA 1151, clocked at 2.2GHz (Turbo: up to 2.8GHz) with 4 cores/4 threads, 6MB of cache, and a TDP of 65W.
