Anna and the Snow Queen MovieNEX," released on July 16, 2014, has recorded cumulative sales of 2,403,000 copies, ranking first all-time among all video titles.

The film was also a topic of conversation due to its explosive sales: 661,000 copies on the first day, 1 million copies on only the third day, and 2 million copies in the fourth week. Sales of the film continued to increase, reaching 2,403,296 copies in the Oricon Weekly BD Ranking as of September 7, 2012. It surpassed the previous record of 2,403,269 sales set by the DVD "Spirited Away" (released in July 2002), which had previously held the all-time record for a video work, to become the all-time record holder. The record-breaking sales in the short period of one year and one month after its release is also astonishing.

The "Cinderella MovieNEX" to be released on September 2 will include "Anna and the Snow Queen: Elsa's Surprise," the sequel to "Anna and the Snow Queen," as bonus content. This movie is also expected to be popular.
