TV anime "GARO -Kouren no Tsuki-" to air in two consecutive seasons starting in October!　Newly-drawn key visuals by Masakazu Katsura and the splendid cast are also revealed!

Broadcasting of the TV anime "GARO -Kouren no Tsuki-" is set to begin in October. The key visual and cast have also been announced.

GARO - Kouren no Tsuki" is the second TV anime following "GARO - GARO: Mark of Fire" in 2014 from the special effects series for adults "GARO", which has a total of four series broadcast since 2005. This time, manga artist Masakazu Katsura, who is also well known as the character designer for "TIGER & BUNNY," will be the main character designer, and a new story will be depicted as a "Neo Heian Katsudo" set in the Heian period. Production will continue to be handled by MAPPA and TOHOKUSHINSHA.

The broadcast start date has been set for October. It will be broadcast on TV Tokyo from 1:23 a.m. on Fridays starting October 9, on Star Channel (BS10ch) from 8:15 p.m. on Fridays starting October 16, on CS Family Theater from 8:25 p.m. on Saturdays starting October 24, and sequentially on TV Osaka, TV Aichi, TV Hokkaido, TV Setouchi and TVQ Kyushu Broadcasting Co. TV Osaka, TV Aichi, TV Hokkaido, TV Setouchi, and TVQ Kyushu Broadcasting. The series will run for two consecutive seasons, allowing viewers to enjoy the story of Heian GARO over a six-month period.

The key visual and cast have also been unveiled. The key visual was newly drawn by Masakazu Katsura, and the main characters, who were hidden in silhouette in the teaser visual, can be seen. The cast includes such talented artists as Romi Park, Akiko Yajima, Daisuke Namikawa, Tomokazu Seki, and Keno Horiuchi. Although the cast has not yet been revealed, we can be sure that the stable performances and dialogue will be well-received by the audience.
