Shousen Book Mart" closes on September 30!　Large bookstore under Animate in Jimbocho, the town of books

Shousen Book Mart, a large bookstore in Jimbocho, will close on September 30.



Shousen Book Mart is one of the most prominent large bookstores in Jimbocho, known as the "town of books." In June 2011, it became a subsidiary of Animate, and in September 2012, it was renovated as "Jimbocho's largest comic/RANOBE complex. However, the store will close in about a year.


Shousen Grande (Jimbocho) and Shousen Book Tower (Akihabara) will remain open.

The anime store Rashinban Jimbocho, which opened on the B1F at the end of June 2014, will also close its doors on September 30. It will be integrated with the main Akihabara store.
