Autumn Anime "Everything Becomes F", Cast Comments Arrive! The cast commented, "It feels as if we are solving the mystery together."

Cast comments have arrived from the TV anime series "ALL ABOUT F THE PERFECT INSIDER," which will start on October 8.

This is an anime work based on the masterpiece "Zenkutsu wa F ni naru The Perfect Insider," the debut novel of mystery novelist Hirotsugu Mori, who is highly regarded as a new genre of "science mystery" for the way it presents mathematical problems, and the series has sold 3.9 million copies. Four Seasons (all four books)," which describes the life of the precocious genius programmer Shiki Magada, who appears in the work, is also used as the original story. Directed by Mamoru Kobe, series composition and script by Toshiya Ohno, character design by Yoshiko Okuda, music by Kenji Kawai, and produced by A-1 Pictures.

Below are comments from the three main cast members.

Q1: Thoughts on the original novel/Q2: Thoughts on the recording/Q3: About the role you play/Q4: What direction did the director and sound director give you/Q5: What you keep in mind and what difficulties you had/Q6: Message to the fans

Yasuyuki Kase (Actor: Sohei Saikawa)

Q1: I always thought of myself as having a science brain, but when I read this original novel, it was so amazing that I thought I was not a science person at all (laugh). From the perspective of an ordinary person like me, there are parts that seem a bit out of the ordinary, like replacing everything with mathematical formulas, and I wondered how I should express this.
Q2. There is a list of words that I would not normally use in conversation, so I am exploring how to express this as Saikawa, but I am willing to take on the challenge. If I were a normal person, I wouldn't say "it's totally hot" (laughs). (laugh) I was surprised that Saikawa would express "hot" in this way.
Q3: I am the type of person who is interested in everything, so I don't understand Saikawa's feeling of being thoroughly uninterested in things he is not interested in. If I try to speak as if I am not interested, it just sounds dark or indifferent, so I am conflicted about how I should play that. At the moment, 80% of the time when Saikawa is speaking, he sounds indifferent, but I'm nervous that if something comes up in the future that piques Saikawa's interest, he will start saying horrible lines with tremendous unintelligible content. ...... is a good example, I will do my best!
Q4: The director didn't say anything in particular to me, and I wish he would say something more, but he just said, "Saikawa is a good man. I was told, "Saikawa is a good man. ...... but I will do my best! There are many dialogue elements in the play, so I will try to play my own Saikawa.
Q5: Saikawa uses difficult words and lines, so I have to be careful not to sound like I am saying what is written or that I am forced to say the lines. I am conscious of conveying the message as "words that exist properly. Also, I think we will have more complicated conversations in the future, so I would like to show how Saikawa and Moe interact with each other in the closed space of the laboratory and how they face the case.
Q6: Among mystery works, I don't think there is any other work that depicts a single case over a total of 11 episodes, and I think it is interesting that once you watch the first episode, you don't know how the case will turn out until the end. We, the actors, will be working together with the viewers to solve the mystery, and we hope that you will be absorbed in the unique worldview of this work. Please look forward to the broadcast.

Atsumi Tanezaki (playing the role of Moe Nishinozono)

Q1: I don't usually read mysteries, but I read the original novel before the audition. I read the original novel before the audition, and I found some of the content difficult to understand because it was a "science mystery," but as I read on, I became less concerned about it, and in the end, I don't think I read it with the awareness that it was a science mystery. I was fascinated by the dialogue between geniuses that I would never have thought of, and I read the book in one sitting.
Q2: I saw a part of the animation during the post recording! I could watch it all the time without getting bored. I was fascinated and could watch the animation without getting bored. It may seem difficult at first, but I thought it was a way of showing and creating without making you feel that way at all.
Q3: In the introduction of Moe's character, it is said that she has "leaps of thought." When I read the original novel, I did not get that impression, but before recording, Director Kobe talked about the "way of thinking" of each character. When I started to play her, I realized that she is indeed that type of girl. I also have the impression that she is an extraordinary young lady, and that she is out of touch with the world in a different way from the four seasons.
Q4: During the audition, I was told to be "elegant and fresh," so I have kept this in mind since the recording session started. However, if I try to act in a refined manner in emotional scenes, I lose Moe's brightness, so I try to act as I feel in the scene as much as possible.
Q5: Moe is a smart and dynamic girl, so if I play her as she acts or says, I lose the atmosphere of a young lady, so I try not to forget to play her in a "classy" way. I try not to forget to be "gracious." However, I think it's okay to forget that when dealing with Mr. Saikawa. I think I am more conscious of "who I am talking to" than ever before.
Q6: At first glance, the story may seem difficult, but you made it easy to watch and easy to understand. I am sure that those who have read the original story and those who are new to the anime will enjoy it as well, so please look forward to it!

Kido Kabuki ( Shiki Magada)

Q1: At first, I was a bit confused by some of the words I didn't usually see or hear in the book, but I was able to read it easily and enjoyed it.
Q2: At first, I thought that the character Shiki was an inorganic woman without a human touch, but when I carefully read the other original novel, the Shiki series, I realized that Shiki was also an ordinary girl. When I was recording the scene, I was trying to figure out how to make her sound like a genius, and I was trying to figure out how to speak and breathe. When I first saw the illustration of Shiki drawn by the character designer, Inio Asano, I was impressed by the unique, not overly animated illustration, so I try to act her in a natural voice without making too much of it.
Q3: She is called "the genius closest to God among human beings," and I think her thought process and interpretations are completely different from those of ordinary people, so I wondered how I should play her. But even so, I felt that I had no choice but to give it my all! I will give it my all and give my performance my best.
Q4: The director asked me to make Shiki speak in an indifferent manner, as if he looked down on all people. However, I want to play the character with a passion in my heart, so I don't want to make him sound too inorganic.
Q5: I want to express well the mysterious and bottomless part of Shiki, as if she can see right through her partner. However, I don't want to make her look like a robot, so I hope to express Shiki's humanity at the same time.
Q6: This work is easy to watch even for people who don't usually watch anime. There are a lot of mysteries in the story, so I hope that everyone will join us in solving them. I will also do my best to perform Shiki in a way that will capture your attention. Please come and see the show.
