LGA1151-compliant H170/B150 motherboards are now on sale from various companies! MSI Edition

Motherboards withthe latest LGA1151 chipsets , Intel H170 Express and Intel B150 Express,are now available from MSI.

The lineup includes the "H170A GAMING PRO", "H170 GAMING M3", and "H170A PC MATE"with Intel'sH170Express, and the "B150A GAMING PRO", "B150MBAZOOKA" and "B150 PC MATE" models.




The "H170" and "B150" chipsetsare the lower-end models of thepreviously introduced "Z170.The mainstream-oriented "H170"removes theoverclocking feature andmulti-GPU support fromthe "Z170," while the chipset's PCI Express 3.0 lanes have been changed from 20 to 16 and USB 3.0 ports from 10 to 8. The business-oriented B150, a subset of the H170, omits 8 PCI Express 3.0 lanes and 6 USB 3.0 ports on the chipset.


The "H170A GAMING PRO" and "B150A GAMING PRO" arepart of the "GAMING PRO" series ofgaming-oriented models with customizable LED " Mystic Light" and the "Audio Boost 3" sound feature that delivers high sound quality.

The main specifications of the H170A GAMING PRO include two PCI Express 3.0 x16 expansion slots, two PCI Express 3.0 x1 expansion slots , and three PCI expansion slots, and four DDR4 DIMMs (up to 64GB) of memory.Other features include SATA 6Gbps x 6, SATA Express x 1, Gigabit LAN, 8-channel sound, USB 3.1, USB 3.0, and USB 2.0.

The B150A GAMING PRO has two PCI Express 3.0 x16 expansion slots, two PCI Express 3.0 x1 slots, and three PCI expansion slots, and four DDR4 DIMMs of memory (up to 64GB). Other features include SATA 6Gbps x 6, SATA Express x 1, Gigabit LAN, 8-channel sound, USB 3.1, USB 3.0, and USB 2.0.


The H170 GAMING M3 features the Killer E2400Gigabit LAN controller from Rivet Networks with 15KV surge protection circuitryand GAMING LAN, which optimizes network bandwidth usage for low latency Gaming motherboard.

Main specifications include two PCI Express 3.0 x16 expansion slots, two PCI Express 3.0 x1 expansion slots, and three PCI expansion slots, and four DDR4 DIMMs of memory (up to 64GB). Other features include SATA 6Gbps x 6, SATA Express x 1, Gigabit LAN, 8-channel sound, USB 3.1, USB 3.0, and USB 2.0.

The H170A PC MATE and B150A PC MATE are standard models belonging to the business-oriented PRO series.

The H170A PC MATE has two PCI Express 3.0 x16 expansion slots, two PCI Express 3.0 x1 expansion slots, and three PCI expansion slots, and four DDR4 DIMMs of memory (up to 64GB). Other features include 6 SATA 6Gbps, 1 SATA Express, 1 M.2, Gigabit LAN, 6-channel sound, USB 3.1, USB 3.0, and USB 2.0.

The main specifications of the B150A PC MATE include two PCI Express 3.0 x16, two PCI Express 3.0 x1, and three PCI expansion slots, and four DDR4 DIMMs of memory (up to 64 GB). The B150M BAZOOKA also features 6 x SATA 6Gbps, 1 x SATA Express, 1 x M.2, Gigabit LAN, 6-channel sound, USB 3.1, USB 3.0, and USB 2.0.


The B150M BAZOOKA is a microATX motherboard belonging to the "BAZOOKA" series, a model for gaming in black and white , and features GAMING LAN with low latency by optimizing network bandwidth usage and white LEDs.

Main specifications include two PCI Express 3.0 x16 expansion slots, two PCI Express 3.0 x1 expansion slots, and three PCI expansion slots, and four DDR4 DIMMs of memory (up to 64GB).
