Yoshiyuki Sadamoto's "Hatsune Miku" is now available as a 1/8 figure!　Hatsune Miku: Greatest Idol Ver." from Good Smile Company!

Good Smile Company has released a figure of Miku Hatsune: The Greatest Idol Ver. for pre-order on September 3.

This 1/8th scale figure (approx. 200mm in height) of Miku Hatsune is based on the jacket illustration by Yoshiyuki Sadamoto, an animator and manga artist known for his work on the manga version of Eva, from sound producer Mitchie M's "Greatest Idol" album. The figure's dynamic pose and adorable expression, as well as the intricate and detailed musical instruments, have been carefully crafted down to the finest of details.

The price is 12,000 yen. The product is scheduled to go on sale in May 2016. Those who pre-order from the Good Smile Online Shop (http://goodsmile.ecq.sc/gscscajp00062.html) will receive an A3 tapestry of the CD jacket illustration. Pre-orders will be accepted until September 30 at 21:00.
