Autumn Anime "Osomatsu-san" Reveals Main Visual and Broadcast Information!　TV Tokyo, TV Osaka, TV Aichi, AT-X, BS Japan

The main visual and broadcast information of the TV anime "Osomatsu-san," which will start in October, have been released.



Osomatsu-san" is an original anime produced to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the late Fujio Akatsuka's birth.Based on "Osomatsu-kun," agagcomicpublished by Fujio Akatsuka in Weekly Shōnen Sunday in 1962 that became an explosive hit, "Osomatsu-san" depicts a future where the six children have grown up. This is the first new "Osomatsu-kun" in 27 years, following the first "Osomatsu-kun" (monochrome anime) broadcast in 1966 and the second one in 1988. Directed by Yoichi Fujita of "Gintama" fame, character design by Naoyuki Asano, series composition by Shu Matsubara, and animation production by studio Piero. The main visual released this time is a lively illustration of a large gathering of the main characters; the fashion of the six children also differs from character to character, making it easy to tell who is what pine tree.

The series will air on TV Tokyo and TV Osaka from 1:35 a.m. on Mondays starting October 5, on TV Aichi from 3:05 a.m. on Mondays starting October 5, on BS Japan from midnight every Saturday starting October 10, and on AT-X from 0:30 a.m. every Tuesday, 16:30 every Thursday, and 18:30 every Sunday starting October 6. AT-X will broadcast four times a week from October 6: Tuesdays at 0:30 am, Thursdays at 4:30 pm, and Mondays at 8:30 pm.
