Prince of Stride" to be adapted into a TV anime in January 2016! A coming-of-age story of high school students fascinated by a fictional extreme sport

A TV anime adaptation of "Prince of Stride" has been decided. The staff and cast have also been announced.


Prince of Stride" is a female-oriented work that depicts the adolescence of high school boys who devote themselves to "Stride," an extreme sport in which a team of six run through the city. It is planned and written by Shuji Sogabe [FiFS], and has so far been developed into a visual novel, drama CD, game, and other products.

The TV anime version will start in January 2016 as "Prince of Stride Alternative. Directed by Atsuko Ishizuka of "Hanayamata" and "Sakura-so no Pet na Kanojo," the series is composed by Atsuko Kishimoto of "HIQUE! and "Usagi Drop"), animation character design by Kunitoshi Oh, and animation production by Madhouse. The cast includes Ryohei Kimura as Riku Yagami, Nobuhiko Okamoto as Takeru Fujiwara, Kana Hanazawa as Nana Sakurai, Kensho Ono as Hozumi Kohinata, Daisuke Ono as Heath Shikura, Hiro Shimono as Ayumi Kadowaki, Junichi Suwabe as Kyosuke Kuga, Ryutaro Okiayu as Yujiro Dan, Mamoru Miyano as Reiji Suwa, Daisuke Hirakawa as Shizuma Mayuzumi, Takuya Eguchi as Mantaro is Takuya Eguchi, Tadashi Seo is Tatsuo Suzuki, Yuuma Mayuzumi is Tomoki Ono, and Kaede Okumura is Toshiyuki Toyonaga.
