TV Anime "Rampo Kitan" Unveils Supporting Illustrations by Usamaru Furuya and Chinatsu Kurahana! Viewer-participation voting project is also underway!

Supporting illustrations drawn by popular creators from the TV anime "Rampo Kitan Game of Laplace" have arrived.



Rampo Kitan Game of Laplace" is an original anime work to be broadcast on Fuji Television's late-night anime slot "Noitamina". The story is set in the 50th anniversary of the death of Edogawa Rampo, a master of Japanese mystery novels, and is based on his various works. The story centers on a genius high school detective named Akechi, who is allowed to leave school by the Imperial Household Agency for helping solve unusual crime cases. Directed by Seiji Kishi and Makoto Uezu of "Danganronpa" fame, with series composition and screenplay by Seiji Kishi and Makoto Uezu. Production is by Ralke.


On the official website, a project of supporting illustrations by creators is currently underway, and illustrations newly drawn by Usamaru Furuya, a manga artist known for "Raichi Hikari Club" and "Teiichi no Kuni," and Chinatsu Kurahana, an illustrator who has worked on character designs for "Uta no ✩Prince Sama! The "Rampo Kitan" characters depicted with the two artists' touch are a must-see.

Also, the "Rampo Kitan Special Edition: Undercover Investigation at Everywhere" is currently being held, in which the top choice among six "Situations & Sketches" will be chosen to be made into a color illustration. A new bonus has now been added to the project, and the top-ranked situation will be written by Mr. Uezu as a short story. This short story will be an enclosed bonus in the Blu-ray & DVD. Voting will be open on the official website until September 14, and the results will be announced on September 17, the day the final episode airs.

The first scene cut from the 10th episode "Transformation Desire," which airs tonight, has also arrived. The story is about to reach its climax.
