Japan Post's original character "Posukuma" will be made into an animation! First public appearance at "Message Festa 2015 in KITTE".

An anime adaptation of "Posukuma" has been decided.


Posukuma" is an original character of Japan Post. The character is based on a stuffed bear and works as a postman at a post office in the forest. The animated version will be produced as a short animation by Fanworks and Dentsu. The scenario was written by the author of the picture book "Kuma no Gakko" and the original writer of the NHK animation "Ganbare! The story of Posukuma's struggle to deliver letters is depicted with fantastic watercolor backgrounds and fluffy 3D animation.


The cast includes Ayumi Murase as Posukuma, Hisako Kanemoto as Posukoguma, and Noriko Hidaka as the narrator, and will be unveiled at the opening ceremony of "Message Festa 2015 in KITTE" to be held at KITTE in front of Tokyo Station on September 18, followed by nationwide letter events and a special website (http www.post.japanpost.jp/promotion/tegami_hagaki/).
