Takuya Fujima x Video Studio original magical girl animation "BREETSCHLAG", the world's first VR animation, sold as a set with a dedicated viewer! Pseudo-experience a 360-degree panoramic view!

Video Studio has announced that the original anime "BREETSCHLAG" will be the world's first VR anime and will be sold as a set with its own viewer.

BREETSCHLAG" is an original anime work by Animation Studio, well-known for the TV anime "Unidentified and Progressive" and other works. Takuya Fujima of the manga "Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha ViVid" will participate as a character designer, and Makoto Fukami of "PSYCHO-PASS" will write the script.

The work has been sold as merchandise at Comiket, serialized in manga + novel format in Megami Magazine, and serialized in four-panel story in Kyarabye, but the full-length release has finally been decided. As a result of the challenge of planning and producing new visual expressions using the "Oculus Rift" and other devices, the 360-degree panoramic video and still image content delivered to smartphones can be viewed by setting them in a dedicated viewer developed by Toppan Printing, creating a VR (Virtual Reality) experience with a three-dimensional and realistic feeling. The dedicated viewer is a highly immersive and realistic way to enjoy the contents of the site. The dedicated viewer is a highly immersive box and twin-lens type that changes viewing angles in conjunction with the tilt of the smartphone, enabling a simulated 360-degree panoramic viewing experience.

The dedicated viewer is sold at a low price of 900 yen plus tax for the video and set. The first model, featuring the main character Seira Kagetsu, will be on sale to the general public (made-to-order) at all animate stores from September 18.
