Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon, Forza Motorsport 6, and other notable games on sale this week!

First up is the dungeon RPG "Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon" for the 3DS.

Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon" is the latest title in the "Pokémon Mystery Dungeon" series, a collaboration between the "Pokémon" series and Spike Chunsoft's "Fushigi no Dungeon" series.

Players take on the role of the titular Pokémon and, together with a partner, travel the world to create a map of the world. Through their adventures, players aim to join the "Pokémon Investigators," a group of Pokémon who travel the world to protect the planet where Pokémon live.

The game adopts the system of the "Mystery Dungeon" series of dungeon RPGs, in which the structure of the dungeon, the placement of enemies, and the location of tools change each time the game is played. The game also incorporates systems unique to the "Pokémon" series, such as "Awakening," in which Pokémon can be significantly powered up by fulfilling conditions in the dungeon, and "Mega Shinka," which changes its appearance, type, and special characteristics. All 720 types of Pokémon that have been discovered so far appear in this title, making it the culmination of the Pokémon series.

The sales have gotten off to a mild start at the various stores in Akihabara. Demand from families is expected to increase as the major holidays begin this weekend.
