The main character of the play is Ftsuo Masuda, who is modeled after the original Heitao Hirata. The story begins when Futsuo, who is too ordinary for his own good, falls in love with a certain person. That person is the unsuccessful idol Ten Ten, modeled after Saki Ushiyama in the original story. For some reason, Futsuo dreams about the Asuka period and thinks that the reason he is attracted to Ten Ten is in his dream. ......

However, this is an unpredictable "gag manga day". Familiar characters such as Prince Shotoku, Ono Imoko, Usami, and Kumakichi, as well as the Normal Tenten family, who are modeled after characters in the original story, show their personalities one after another, and the story takes a startling turn that extends to the fate of the earth. ...... The characters, said to be "impossible to reproduce," are so well done that one can't help but burst into laughter just by seeing them on stage. It is also refreshing to see characters who appeared in separate episodes in the original story moving through a single storyline.
