Social game "Granblue Fantasy" to be adapted into a TV anime! Project by Cygames x Aniplex x A-1 Pictures
A TV anime adaptation of "Granblue Fantasy" has been decided.
Granblue Fantasy" is a social game planned, developed, and operated by Cygames, the company behind "Shigeki no Bahamut". It is a blockbuster RPG set in the sky, and has gained immense popularity due to its beautiful illustrations, magnificent music, and characters performed by gorgeous voice actors, and the number of registered users has exceeded 5 million. It is not only a game, but also a novel, goods, web radio, and various other media mixes.
The TV anime adaptation was announced at TOKYO GAME SHOW 2015. Details have yet to be revealed, but it will be a project by Cygames, Aniplex, and A-1 Pictures.
The main character decides to leave his home island of Zankutinsel to go to Istarcia, an island of stars mentioned in his father's letter, and meets a girl named Luria, who has escaped from the Erste Empire. The hero is seriously injured protecting Luria from the empire, but Luria links her own life with the hero's and he survives. The protagonist flew out of Zankutinsel to Istarcia, while Luria escaped from the pursuers of the empire.
