High school rugby manga "ALL OUT! will be adapted into a TV anime by the end of 2016! The first ever TV anime adaptation of a rugby themed work!

The TV anime adaptation of "ALL OUT!!!" will be adapted into a TV anime that will start within 2016.

ALL OUT! is a manga work by Shiori Amase that has been serialized in Monthly Morning Two since 2012. The story is based on high school rugby and skillfully expresses the appeal of rugby with dynamic brushwork that won the 60th Chiba Tetsuya Award for Encouragement for "Portrait of David," as well as the sensitive emotional portrayal that only a woman can provide. The story is set at Kanagawa High School (known as "Jinko's"), a Kanagawa prefectural high school, and begins when two boys of opposite heights and personalities meet through rugby, and the story passionately and vividly depicts their adolescence. Currently popular not only among rugger men but also among women, this is the first ever work based on rugby to be adapted into a TV anime. Details such as staff and cast have not yet been announced.

September is the rugby season when university and adult leagues open, and the Rugby World Cup 2015 begins in England on September 18. Japan's first match against South Africa will be held on September 19 at 24:45. And with the next tournament in 2019 to be held in Japan for the first time as an Asian country, rugby is attracting attention in Japan as well.

<STORY>
Kenji Gion, who is concerned about his small stature, meets the tall Ishimizu on the day of the entrance ceremony at Kanagawa High School (Jinko) for a single ball game. That ball game is -- rugby. The uneven duo spins an oval tale of adolescence, and here it begins!
