Autumn Anime "GARO -Kouren no Tsuki-" Announces First PV and Casting!　The main character, Raikage, is played by Masei Nakayama, who played Raikage Saeshima in the tokusatsu series.

The first PV and cast of the TV anime "GARO - Kouren no Tsuki", which will start in October, have been announced.

GARO - Kouren no Tsuki" is the second TV anime from the adult-oriented special effects series "GARO," which has a total of four series broadcast since 2005, following "GARO - GARO: Mark of Fire" in 2014. This time, manga artist Masakazu Katsura, who is also well known as the character designer for "TIGER & BUNNY," will be the main character designer, and a new story will be depicted as a "Neo Heian Katsudo" set in the Heian period. Production will continue to be handled by MAPPA and TOHOKUSHINSHA. It will be broadcast in two consecutive seasons.

The first PV and the cast have been unveiled, featuring a powerful full-length movie, a theatrical accompaniment that enhances the Heian Garo story, and character voices. The main character, Raikan, is played by actor Masei Nakayama, who played the main character, Saeshima Raikan, in the tokusatsu series, and is making his first attempt at voice acting. He is the first actor in the series to take on the role of the second golden knight, from Raikyo to Raikyo. Other voice actors include Romi Park as Hoshiaki, Akiko Yajima as Kintoki, Daisuke Namikawa as Fujiwara Yosuke, Keno Horiuchi as Fujiwara Michinaga, Tomokazu Seki as Roya Michimitsu, and Mayu Udono, Saka Sasaki, and Yoriko Sato as Inari (the three fox gods).

Masakazu Katsura and the voice actors will give a talk stage at the Kyoto International Manga and Anime Fair 2015, which will be held from September 19.

The worldview of director Keita Amemiya, the characters drawn by Masakazu Katsura, and the taste of the Heian period are fused together to create a new world of GARO.
