TV anime "GATE: Jiken no Chi de, Suken Sen Eri" (Gate: Self-Defense Forces: Fighting on His Own Ground) to start its second season in January 2016!　Staff and cast to continue!

The TV anime "GATE: Self-Defense Forces: In His Own Country, This Is War" announced that its second season will start in January 2016.

GATE: SDF, His Land, This Fighting" is an anime work based on a novel by Takumi Yanai, which was serialized on a novel posting site on the web. It is an entertainment fantasy in which the Japanese Ground Self-Defense Force is active in a different world, making full use of modern weapons. Directed by Naohiko Kyogoku of "Love Live! series composition by Tatsuhiko Urahata of "Horizon on the Middle of Nowhere", character design by Jun Nakai of "Silver Spoon", and production by A-1 Pictures.

The series aired from July to mid-September, and the second season will start in January 2016. The staff and cast will continue to work on the series, which will be broadcast on TOKYO MX, MBS, TV Aichi, BS11, AT-X, etc.

Incidentally, the original series has sold more than 2.8 million copies. In addition, in mid-December, just before the start of the second season, the 8th volume of the comics, the paperback "Gate Gaiden 4" (top and bottom), and a spin-off manga will be published.

<Story
The area around Arunus Hill, where Itami and the Ground Self-Defense Force are stationed, has flourished as a base connecting "Tokuchi" and Japan, and the bond between the two has steadily deepened.
