It is an everyday comedy centering on the "dried-up sister" Umaru Tsuchima, who is a talented and impeccable high school girl on the outside, but spends her time at home playing games and reading manga, and her caring older brother Taihei. Toward the climax, seven voice actors, including Aimi Tanaka (Umaru Tsuchima), Kenji Nojima (Taihei Tsuchima), Akira Kageyama (Nana Ebina), Haruka Shiraishi (Kirie Honba), Yurina Furukawa (Tachibana Silfinford), Hiroki Yasumoto (Bomba), and Tetsuya Kakihara (Alex), have all finished recording the episode. On September 27, the day the 12th (final) episode airs on TOKYO MX/BS11/AT-X, episodes 1 through 11 will be streamed from 19:00.

I don't really feel like it's over (laughs). (Laughs.) The anime is still airing, so the summer of Umaru is not over yet, but this was the last time we all gathered together to record the full-length episode. It was sad to leave behind, but we were able to end on a positive note, excited about the future. I feel as if it is the last day of summer vacation, with the new school year starting tomorrow. After the recording, the director gave me a bouquet of yellow flowers made entirely of sunflowers, and it was very impressive, just like Umaru. At any rate, this was the end of it all. We enjoyed the scene with all our might! It was so much fun!

It was a very comfortable place for me. Just like the work, it was a gentle and laid-back place that was not too busy, but rather relaxed. The "Sister S" (a unit consisting of the four main cast members) were all there, the older brothers were watching over us, the guests did their best to liven things up, and the staff were all as kind as Taihei himself (laughs).
-(Laughs) I was constantly helped by my brother and sister.
I felt a lot of pressure playing the leading role for the first time, but thanks to all the members of "Sister S" and my brothers, I was able to live my life as Umaru to the fullest. The final episode went by so fast. Ebina-chan, who is shy, calm, sometimes a gourmand, and has an Akita dialect, was a lot of fun to play! I am very happy that my anime debut was this work!

The four main characters got along like real classmates through this work! Also, the work "Umaru-chan! Umaru-chan" is about the daily lives of siblings, and I feel that the older members of the team who surrounded us looked after us as if they were our older brothers. I don't really feel like it's over yet, but when I look back on the recording sessions, I can vividly recall the fun memories and the warm atmosphere on the set, so I feel sad to think that they are over. The character of Kirie Honba is very important to me, and I was always thinking about her somewhere during the time I played her. Sometimes I wanted to support her, and sometimes she gave me courage... I am truly grateful to have met Kirie-chan and to have been able to be involved in this work. I would like to say thank you to all the members of "Seina S" who have fought together with me, to the seniors who taught me many things, to the staff who created a warm workplace, and to everyone who supported me.

What? Already? It was so fast.... It all happened so fast.... I was desperately playing the role of Sylphine, and before I knew it, it was the last episode.... I still want to play Sylphine. I usually don't get to be in the tension of Sylphine, so I enjoyed myself as much as I could every time I played her. That's why I'm very sad. It was a really wonderful experience, and I am glad that my first regular role was in "Umaru-chan! Umaru-chan" as my first regular role. It was a lot of fun. Thank you very much!

The girls got along well with each other. They were working hard and straight, and it was wonderful. Tanaka (Aimi) in particular was stepping up to the plate.
