The release date of the anime film "Wake Up, Girls! The Second Part of the Movie: Beyond the Bottom" has been set for December 11. The key visual and story were also announced.



Wake Up, Girls!" is an original anime directed by Hiroshi Yamamoto (director of the TV anime "Lucky Star"), written and composed by Doko Waita, and featuring music by Satoru Kamizaki (MONACA). The TV broadcast and theatrical release started simultaneously in January 2014 and attracted a lot of attention. A new theater version, "Wake Up, Girls! Sequel Theater Version," will be released in September/December 2015 as a two-part series.

In conjunction with the September 25 release of "Wake Up, Girls! Sequel: The Movie First Part, Shadow of Youth," new information on "Wake Up, Girls! Sequel: The Movie Second Part, Beyond the Bottom" has been released. The second part will be released on December 11. The key visual depicts the seven members dancing dynamically on stage at a live concert with psyllium lights shining brightly. The theme song for the second part, "Beyond the Bottom," will be released on December 9. The coupling song will be "Subway Labyrinth," which was first performed at the 2nd live tour this summer.

Meanwhile, in "I-1club," the pinnacle of the idol world, a battle for the center of the club erupts after the latest single's sales break the million mark. I-1club's producer Shiroki's ruthless leadership unexpectedly leads "Wake Up, Girls! What is it that we cannot give up even after defeat? What is an idol? In search of the answer, the story converges once again on the "Festival of Idols.
