The official title and the first key visual of the TV anime "Macross△ (tentative)" have been announced.

This is a new work in the popular "Macross" series, an anime centered on transforming robots, singing, and love triangles. Even before the official announcement, the film has attracted a great deal of attention, as evidenced by the fact that approximately 8,000 applications were received for the "Diva" audition to select a voice actress and singer for the heroine.

The official title has now been decided as "Macross Delta. The first key visual released along with the title depicts two aircraft that appear to be Valkyries. In addition, it was decided that the "Super Dimension" production announcement will be broadcast live from 12:00 p.m. on October 29. Shoji Kawamori, the general director, and the winner of the new diva audition will appear on stage to announce the main staff, characters, and other details.
