The result of "2015 Summer Anime OP Theme Popularity Poll" was announced!　The first place is "Umaru-chan", the second place is "Charlotte", and the third place is "Jail Academy"! Umaru-chan", "Charlotte" in second place, and "Jail Academy" in third place!

Akiba Research Institute's anime portal "Anipota" held a voting project "OP Theme (Theme Song) Popularity Poll [2015 Summer Anime]" from August 17 to September 23, 2015. Here are the results of the voting.



The OP theme is a symbolic song of the work that enlivens the viewers who are looking forward to the main story. In " 2015 Summer Anime ", there are many unique works such as the latest works of famous creators, sequels of popular series, sensational erotic comedies, etc., and the OP themes are also various. The overall strength of the music, artists, and works was tested.

Taking the top spot early on, " Kakushin no Younger Sister" of "Umaru-chan " took the No. 1 spot, beating out the competition from No. 2 and below! Umaru-chan's "Kakushin-teki☆Memaru Fu~ze! (Umaru Tsuchima <Aimi Tanaka>). Umaru-chan" is a perfect outside work! Umaru-chan" is a comedy depicting the daily life of Umaru, who is a perfect high school girl outside but a "dried-up sister" at home. The lyrics, which express the character, the cute and innocent singing voice, and the light rhythm of the song are addictive and make you want to sing along with the song.

In second place, with more than 500 votes, was "Bravely You" by "Charlotte" (Lia), which came in just short of the top spot. Lia's clear and elongated singing voice is linked to the characters who face their destiny, and the song is a favorite among Key fans. The third-place winner was "Jigoku Jigoku" (prison in jail), written and composed by Jun Maeda, who also wrote the original story and screenplay of the song.

In third place was "Prison of Love" from " Jailhouse School" (Jailhouse Boys: Hiroshi Kamiya, Katsuyuki Konishi, Kenichi Suzumura, Daisuke Namikawa, Kazuyuki Okitsu). Jailhouse Gakuen" is an erotic comedy that depicts the suffering of five high school boys imprisoned in the punishment wing (a.k.a. "prison") by three beautiful women from the "underworld student council" that enforces discipline at the school. In addition to the content, which is on the verge of being broadcast, the popular cast of high school boys who live honestly with their troubles has also become a topic of conversation. Perhaps it was the theme song that made it possible for such a gorgeous unit to be realized.

Fourth place went to "Shine!" from "THE IDOLM@STER CINDERELLA GIRLS 2nd SEASON " ( CINDERELLA PROJECT ). (CINDERELLA PROJECT <Ayaka Ohashi, Ayaka Fukuhara, Sayuri Hara, Hiromi Igarashi, Yuka Ohtsubo, Hope Yamamoto, Marei Uchida, Natsumi Takamori, Rei Matsuzaki, Ruriko Aoki, Tomoyo Kurosawa, Aya Suzaki, Naomi Ozora, Sumire Uesaka>). The cheerful and positive song sung by a total of 14 members fits perfectly with the world view of the work, which depicts the struggles of idols. Also in sixth place was "Gakko Gurashi!( Gakuen Seikatsu Club <Inori Minase, Ari Ozawa, M・A・O, Riyo Takahashi>) and "Pillow Boys" (Merii <Natsuki Hanae>) came in at No. 10, indicating the popularity of "character songs" in which the cast members sing as characters.
