The cast of the theatrical anime "ARIA The AVVENIRE" gathered together for the first time in eight years at the opening day greeting! I cried as soon as I walked into the studio."

The opening day of the theatrical anime "ARIA The AVVENIRE" was held on September 26.

ARIA The AVVENIRE" is a completely new anime based on the healing manga "ARIA" by Kozue Amano, whose series has sold over 4.8 million copies. It will be screened at an event on September 26 as the centerpiece of the 10th anniversary project "Ao no Curtain Call," which commemorates the 10th anniversary of the anime adaptation. The staff is the same as that of the TV series, with Junichi Sato as director, Reiko Yoshida as script writer, Masayuki Ondechi as character designer, and TYO Animations as production company.

The first day of screening, September 26, will be held at Shinjuku Piccadilly. Erino Hazuki, who plays Touri, Chiwa Saito, who plays Aika, Ryo Hirohashi, who plays Alice, Sayaka Ohara, who plays Alicia, Chinami Nishimura, who plays President Aria, Junko Minagawa, who plays Akira, and director Junichi Sato took the stage to report the completion and give their impressions. It had been 8 years since the last time all the main cast members gathered together at an event held in 2007 to commemorate the release of "ARIA The OVA: ARIETTA," and when they spoke of their feelings and gratitude to the fans for their long involvement with the work, some were so moved by their feelings that they cried. Below are the comments.

Rino Hazuki as Touri
I didn't expect to see so much of Touri's growth as a prima ballerina, so when I received the script, I was happy and at the same time worried about how to express Touri as a senior. I was happy when I received the script, but at the same time I was worried about how I should portray Tori as a senior. It is thanks to the fans' love and connection that we were able to meet again, and I hope you will continue to cherish ARIA for a long time to come.

Chiwa Saito as Aika
In this work, I have a junior colleague. In the world of ARIA, I had a perfect relationship with my seniors, so at first I wondered what would happen to me. However, I felt nothing strange about having a junior colleague, and it was a strange sensation. Today, when I visited the theater for the stage greeting and entered the screen, I felt strangely comfortable just as I did at the recording studio, and I felt that the atmosphere of ARIA is here as well. This work is filled with all the things I love, so please come and see me again.I am always waiting for you at the theater, so let's meet again in the world of AIRA.

Ryo Hirohashi as Alice
I was very happy to see that the production was successful, and I was able to see that the production was passed on from one generation to the next. I think the audience feels the same way, and it is a wonder and a miracle that so many people can share the same feeling in the same place, and I feel happy. I am very happy to have been able to meet such wonderful seniors and juniors, and as long as there are people who watch this work, it will remain, so I hope that you will enjoy it as many times as possible.

Sayaka Ohara as Alicia
Usually, when recording ARIA, music is played during the test so that the audience can feel the atmosphere of ARIA, but this time it was not played (because everyone cries when they listen to the music). I was looking forward to it, so I would like to say "the director made me cry" (laugh). I really liked Granma's line, "The seeds of unfulfilled wishes are hidden in our hearts and continue to shine with the light of hope. And the subsequent line, "Wishes that we thought would never come true sometimes change their shape and form and appear out of nowhere, so that's what we have to look forward to," is also connected to this production, so I really feel that it is a miracle. I believe that today is the anniversary of the miracle.

Chinami Nishimura as President Aria
I was so full of joy during recording that I felt it was a waste to finish recording in one day. At the studio site, Touri's first voice filled me with a gentle feeling, and listening to everyone's voices took me back to the old days. We are very happy to see the first day of the show, but we also feel a little lonely. As the last episode of Granma's wish seed says, the seeds of each and every one of you who have loved ARIA have blossomed after 7 long years of love and affection. I love all of you who have been waiting for ARIA for so long even though the days have passed. I am so happy to be able to celebrate this day with you. I will be happy if ARIA will always be in your hearts.

Junko Minagawa as Akira
I was very careful not to cry during the post recording. I cried and cried during rehearsals at home and couldn't do a single rehearsal well, so I thought I would be fine for the performance, but I cried as soon as we entered the studio. Today, people around me stopped me from looking at the pamphlet because they said I would cry if I looked at it again (laugh). Thank you all for meeting and loving ARIA. I am sure I will see you all again when a wonderful miracle happens. Until then, take care everyone. See you again.

Junichi Sato, Director
I remixed the music from the world of ARIA into 5.1ch this time, and I think it was a kiseki that I was able to make use of songs that have not been released to the world in this film. I am once again filled with gratitude for having offered this work to me. I am also filled with gratitude to all the fans who loved and cherished this work. Let's enjoy this truly kiseki opportunity to the fullest and enjoy the world of Neo-Venice for a while to come.
