Two entry-level NAS models with stylish designs are available from ASUSTOR!

Two inexpensive entry-level NAS kits with stylish designs are now available from ASUSTOR.

The lineupconsists of two models: the AS1004T, a 4-bay model, and the AS1002T, a 2-bay model.




The "AS1004T" and "AS1002T" are NAS kits equipped with Marvell's "ARMADA 385" CPU (operating clock: 1 GHz/dual core).

Despite being entry-level models, they feature a hardware encryption engine that applies military-grade AES 256-bit encryption to each folder. It also supports a tool-free mechanism that allows HDDs to be installed without the use of tools, and the "AiMaster" NAS management application that allows initial settings to be made from a smartphone.

In addition, the front panel features a stylish new diamond-plate design. The AS1004T can be installed not only in offices but also in private spaces such as living rooms and family rooms without any sense of discomfort.

The AS1004T measures 164(W) x 218 (D) x 165(H)mm and weighs 1.5 kg. 2 USB 3.0 interfaces, 1 Gigabit LAN, and 4 3.5-inch SATA HDDs (up to 8 TB ) can be installed. RAID levels are RAID-0/1/5/6/10.

The main specifications of the AS1002T are as follows: body size: 102 (W) x 218 (D) x 165 (H) mm, weight: 0.99 kg, interfaces: USB 3.0 x 2, Gigabit LAN x 1.RAID level is RAID-0/1.
