Comments from voice actors have arrived from the TV anime "Utawarerumono: The False Mask" which will start in October.

Utaowarerumono Nisuri no Kamen" is a completely new anime that coincides with the release of "Utaowarerumono Nisuri no Kamen" on PS4/PS3/PS Vita on September 24, a new version of the popular game "Utaowarerumono" that has also become a TV anime. The story is based on the latest adventure simulation RPG game, and begins when the main character Haku, who has lost his memory, is saved by a girl named Quon, who has beast-like ears and tail. Directed by Keitaro Motonaga, character designs by Amaruki and Mitsumi Misato, character design by Masahiko Nakata, scenario supervision by Munemitsu Suga, series composition by Takamitsu Kouno, and music by Naoya Shimokawa. Animation production is by WHITE FOX.

--What do you think of the character you play? What do you find attractive about him?
I don't know if it's the fact that he has lost his memory, but he seems to be unmotivated.

The characters are unique and attractive. I am looking forward to the development toward the latter half.

At the beginning of recording, there were only a few characters, but as the story progressed, it became more lively. There are a lot of young people, but we are having a lot of fun together.

Risa Taneda (Actress: Quon)
--What is your impression of the character you play? What do you find attractive about her?
She is a bright and active girl with a certain elegance and charm. She takes good care of people and is even more dependable than the main character, Haku (laugh). She loves taking a bath and eating, so the cuteness she shows at such moments is one of her charms.
--Please tell us about the highlights of the TV anime "Utawarerumono: The Mask of the Unknown".
Of course the unique worldview and characters of this work, but I would also like people to pay attention to how Haku, who has lost his memory, will continue the story with Kuon and the others. --What were your impressions of the recording sessions and the atmosphere on the set?
In the game, we recorded the scenes individually, so it was really fun to do postrecording together in the anime! Recently, it has become the norm for Tone-san to make fun of things and Fujiwara-san and the rest of the cast to take the fun out of it (laughs). While the two of them play a central role, all the cast members are very funny, so the atmosphere on the set is very friendly.

He is strong, austere, and dependable! He is the coolest character I have ever played. He is aloof and sometimes smiles with a "smirk," and has a mysterious charm. He is more of a "Han" than a man! I want to become such a Han, too.

The action is just so cool! The battle scenes with their intense movements and techniques are sure to excite you.
The friendship between Haku and Ukon is also a highlight in the profound storyline.
--What were your impressions of the recording sessions and the atmosphere on the set?
I am often teased. I get a lot of criticism from senior staff, junior staff, and staff alike! It's hard for me to concentrate before recording (laughs). Like this(?) Everyone is getting along well and enjoying the recording.

--What is your impression of the character you play? What do you find attractive about her?
I thought she was very cute and protective. I think the more you know about Lurutier, the cuter she becomes. Her warm kindness is especially appealing.
--Do you have any highlights or points of interest for the TV anime "Utawarerumono: The Mask of the False Mask"?
Cocopo! Cocopo is so cute! She's so plump and expressive! If I had met Cocopo when I was a child, I would dream of traveling on her back.

The people are all warm and welcoming, and I think it's a very comfortable place to work. The staff always give me goodies, and we all enjoy them.
